If you encounter work-related health problems, you can approach Avonova yourself without needing permission from your supervisor.
The offer includes two free appointments per year with a specialist of your choice. It also entails a PhD-tailored coaching with a psychologist for the two visits per year.
The service supports both work-related and personal issues, such as psychosocial concerns, legal matters, finances, family law, housing, workplace environment, addiction, and personal crises.
If you feel unfairly treated by KI or someone at KI you can turn to the Ombudsperson who act as an neutral and independent instance between students and KI.

PhD students can apply to have the cost of all prescription medication reimbursed
95kr reimbursement from the total cost of any consult with a physician, therapist.
To support physical activity, KI offers a wellness allowance of 3000 kr per year for employees. It can be used for instance for entry to swimming pool, gym, a course.
The IA system is used to report all work-related illnesses and occurences. This includes near miss, accidents, commuting accidents, work related illness, environment, property/security and victimization.

An eye examination must be offered to employees at Kl who work at a monitor for more than one hour per working day or who need prescription safety glasses at work.
