Project Manager for Winter Conference 2022 [CLOSED]

Have you always wanted to organize a conference and upgrade your CV whilst having fun? Become the project manager of the Winter Conference 2022! 

The Winter Conference is organized for and by doctoral students and aims to broadly cover the medical research field. It offers a platform for doctoral students to network across departments, practice their oral presentation skills, and widen their scientific perspectives as well as have lots of fun. This replaces the conference formerly known as “From Basics to Clinics” which ran for six straight years between 2014-2019 and was unfortunately cancelled in 2020 because of the pandemic. 

As project manager, you will together with a team of five (5) other doctoral students arrange speakers, accommodation, transportation, sponsorships and finances, and much more. You will recruit and lead your own team. The project is yours to mold and define from an early stage, so take the chance and gain the experience of a lifetime! 

As project manager you report to the DSA Board and are responsible for the communication with KI. Most importantly, you are the responsible person for a smoothly running and fun conference. The project will start in the beginning of September and the conference will take place in March/April 2022 (specific date to be determined based on location).
