
Welcome to KI’s first Sustainable Research Week!
The Sustainable Research Week is a three-day conference organized by MF’s Students for Sustainable Development (SSD) at Karolinska Institutet and will take place on the KI Solna campus on Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April 2023.
During this hybrid event, keynote speakers, researchers as well as science company representatives from all over the world, will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience on several topics regarding the role of sustainability in research, as well as to raise awareness on current sustainability issues along with possible solutions.
Each day will be held within a specific theme:
- Day 1: Alternatives to animal models and products used in research
(9.00 – 16.00) - Day 2: Laboratory waste management
(13.00 – 16.00) - Day 3: Networking evening pub including a quiz with a prize for the winner and mingle session
(17.00 – 22.00)
Throughout the event, fika will be provided, as well as lunch on the first day.
